The Tariff Commission of The State Council announced that, in accordance with the Announcement of the Tariff Commission of The State Council on Granting zero-tariff treatment to 98% of the Tariff Items from the Least Developed Countries (Announcement No. 8, 2021), and in accordance with the exchange of notes between the Chinese government and the governments of relevant countries, from September 1, 2022, Zero tariff will be applied to 98% of tariff items from 16 least developed countries (LDCS), including Togo, Eritrea, Kiribati, Djibouti, Guinea, Cambodia, Laos, Rwanda, Bangladesh, Mozambique, Nepal, Sudan, Solomon Islands, Vanuatu, Chad and Central Africa.
